Silicon chosen as Technology partner for Pāmu Farms of New Zealand

Pāmu is the brand name for Landcorp Farming Limited, a State-Owned Enterprise with a nationwide portfolio of over 110 farms that is a world class agricultural leader.

In 2021, Pāmu approached the market looking for a technology partner to significantly improve its IT service desk and desktop management functions. In a highly competitive process, Silicon was chosen to fulfil these requirements and act as a true technology partner, with strongly aligning values.

A successful on-boarding project delivered a full-service desk and device management solution that provided immediate results – improving process, visibility and the end user experience to farmers and staff right throughout the country.

This has resulted in a more reliable and stable technology platform, allowing Pāmu and its people focus on delivering premium natural food and fibre products to the world.

“Pāmu’s objective when we were looking to outsource our Service Desk was to find a partner who felt like an extension of our internal technology team. Silicon have achieved this and more. They understand our business, our people and they always go the extra mile to do what they can.

Silicon have provided thought leadership, created and implemented processes, filled many gaps for our internal team and have really made our lives easier – they have completely transformed our customer experience.”
