Silicon was engaged by Education New Zealand to migrate its local Microsoft Exchange system to Office 365 with hybrid Active Directory. Our extensive experience and methodical approach ensured a seamless, timely migration with no down time and minimal impact to over 250 individual and shared mailboxes.
SIlicon also deployed an Office 365 Backup solution, to protect ENZ’s Office 365 data from accidental data loss, as well as potential cyber-security attacks.

Since 2016, Silicon has provided server infrastructure for the Catalyst Cloud – New Zealand’s most open and flexible public cloud platform. Silicon’s locally assembled server platforms provide the perfect building blocks for Catalyst Cloud to be able to deliver scalable and cost effective cloud solutions, enabling them to complete with, and provide many advantages over global cloud providers.
Silicon has also developed Microsoft Server and SQL Server images for the Catalyst Cloud – allowing them to provide an even broader range of cloud solutions to their clients.

This includes Private Cloud Infrastructure, managed desktop and server support, PC as-a-Service, 2nd generation endpoint protection and Dark Web ID credential theft monitoring.
