A Technology Partnership is based on a contractual agreement, designed to benefit both our customers and Silicon.
BENEFITS OF A TECHNOLOGY PARTNERSHIP
Technology Partnerships are an investment in the future. We aim to develop partnerships with customers who believe in quality and reliability as much as we do. Technology Partnerships provide a structure for Silicon and our customers to work as a team for our mutual benefit. Details are explained below;
Silicon Agrees to:
| • | Work with customers to develop an effective strategy and implementation plan for future IT developments within their organisation | ||
| • | Make available full use of Silicon’s technical facilities with test beds for the entire range of Intel platforms | ||
| • | Share information with customers on the future release of Intel products such as desktops, servers, storage solutions and CPUs. This would include information on the release date of new products, upcoming price reductions and the product life cycle for selected platforms | ||
| • | Provide access to: | ||
| • | Intel pre-release products for testing and evaluation purposes | ||
| • | QUAD - Intel’s internal website which has direct access to Intel design engineers, with guaranteed response times | ||
| • | Cover costs to send customers on selectedIntel training within New Zealand and Australia | ||
| • | Organise membership to the Intel Server Club, which includes IT Managers from government departments and corporate businesses | ||
The customer agrees to:
| • | Form a close working relationship with Silicon and involve us in all IT strategic planning |
| • | Use Silicon as the preferred supplier of all hardware |
| • | Allow us to provide a quote on all proposed solutions |
